My ex-student, Nery Brenes and his accomplishment speaking standard English

This is a special moment to share with you and the world, an inch of what I have done as an English Teacher of this World Indoor Championships Istanbul 2012 winner, Nery Brenes. Am satisfied to see I've contribuited along with other English Teachers with the development of his standard English and more over the accuracy in his speech as he was intervieded by the reporter.

As English Teachers we should motivate students to reach high levels of language competence and present themselves to the world as educated speakers of the language, said Phd. Gilberto Hernández (2012) and I definitely agreeded with you professor.

Thanks Jesus for the good you have done in Nery's life during all these years.

Songs are a natural part of early childhood education in Limón, Costa Rica. Children are taught a wide variety of songs either by their teachers, family members, church leaders and friends or between themselves even if they are not musically inclined. Experienced teachers know that songs are excellent way to begin or end a lesson. At the beginning of a lesson they can help the children make the transition from their native language into English as the lesson warm-up. At the end of the lesson, a good way to dismiss the children is by singing as well. Personally, I enjoy gospel music because it's an inspiration for me.
